STUDIO COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
As we welcome our clients back to work,we remain aware that a Covid-19 public health emergency still exists and it is our top priority to ensure the safety and well being of all production cast and crew members while working at Dakota Studio. The New York State Department of Health published “Interim Guidance for Media Production During the Covid-19 Public Health Emergency“ when production was allowed to resume in the fall of 2020. Our safety protocols have been designed based on the recommendations in these guidelines from the NYS Department of Health. We ask all team members involved in shooting at Dakota Studio to read and familiarize themselves with this information. PRIOR TO PRODUCTION: Dakota Studio requests proof of vaccination upon entrance to the studio from anyone attending a production in our space. It is also recommended that each production company conducts rapid tests within 24 hours prior to your shoot, for all attendees, but we are currently leaving that to the discretion of each production team. It is possible that individuals who have been vaccinated can still contract or transmit the disease. Dakota Studio requires EVERYONE to follow the same safety protocols. No one will be exempt from wearing masks with the exception of talent during filming. We also strongly recommend that everyone wears either N95 or KN95 masks.
AT THE STUDIO:
- Anyone entering into Dakota Studio must be wearing acceptable face coverings at all times within the facility. Dakota Studio will provide masks for anyone requiring replacements.
- Performers may temporarily remove face coverings during performance orduring hair/makeup/wardrobe if necessary. Those working in close proximity to performers without face coverings must wear masks as well as face shields. (Face shields available on request)
- All parties must try to maintain social distancing of at least six feet between individuals where possible, with the exception of performers, hair/makeup/wardrobe, or while moving or unloading large heavyequipment and gear, during which time face coverings must be worn.

All cast and crew are encouraged to frequently sanitize their hands during the production day.
- Ample supplies of sanitizing wipes and cleansers are available for wiping down gear and surfaces frequently throughout the day. It is strongly encouraged that common areas such as hair and makeup stations or equipment are frequently sanitized with available supplies locatedthroughout the studio.
- Dakota Studio will thoroughly clean and sanitize the entire studio, restrooms, lobby and kitchens prior to production.
- We request that no one opens any drawers or cabinets in the kitchens or handles any of the items in the kitchen without prior discussion, unless you are using the kitchen set specifically for your shoot.

- Dakota Studio requests that the production company completes the required screening of all cast and crew members prior to the production using a questionnaire that determines whether any individual has knowingly been in close or approximate contact in the past 14 days with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 or who has had symptoms of Covid-19 or tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 14 days or has experienced any symptoms of Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
- Dakota Studio requests a point of contact person from the production company to inform us in the event of any team member who tests positive within 14 days of production, of so that all individuals involved in the production can be immediately notified. Dakota Studio also requires the name and contact info for all cast and crew that will be in attendance.
