COVID-19 guidelines
Policy in Response to Covid-19
At Park Village we take our responsibilities towards the health and wellbeing of our team, clients and wider community very seriously.
This policy covers actions to help reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19 between those working on and attending shoots at our studios. It should be read together with our Risk Assessment and Covid-19 Safe Working Practices documents prepared with our H&S partners, First Option and available on request.
We work closely with productions to ensure each shoot is assessed for safety and tailored to specific needs with risk assessment checks and live on-set safety support available through our partnership with First Option.
This document is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to comply with government guidelines and industry best practice.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide a main point of contact responsible for effective health and safety planning and actions.
To provide a detailed call sheet and risk assessment at least 24 hours before each shoot.
To provide your team with appropriate PPE - Park Village can help with sourcing supplies pre-shoot and holds a small stock of PPE on-site to ensure adequate protection for all.
To ensure production staff, crew, talent and any visitors register at reception to be checked off the production-supplied call sheet. Only those listed on the call sheet will be allowed into the studios.
Non-contact infrared temperature checks to be carried out by studio staff or Covid supervisor/Medic on set - arrangements will need to be made for anyone showing symptoms, or anyone notified by NHS Track & Trace, or anyone with a temperature heifer than 37.8c to return home.
Park Village Measures & Protocols
Where more than one production is scheduled, call times will be staggered to avoid contact and minimise risk.
With the increase in COVID transmission rates, associated with a more contagious mutation of Coronavirus, the APA recommends the testing of people scheduled to attend productions.
On-site and off-site PCR and Antigen (lateral flow) testing is available through our partnership with a DHSC approved testing provider - please get in touch for more information.
Our studio staff are tested regularly.
Ultra-fast 1GB WiFi enables live remote streaming either on or off-site through our partnership with streaming specialists to reduce numbers on-set.
All three studios have direct to garden access allowing for fresh air breaks and increased ventilation while easing flow in and out of the building and limiting interaction with Park Village staff.
External studio doors and windows within each studio and communal area can be opened to increase ventilation.
Hand sanitising stations and automatic sanitser pumps are located within each studio and at each entry point. Sinks with anti-bacterial hand soap are available in each studio to clean hands.
Pre-sanitised and individually labelled two-way radios available to aid communication across departments.
Floor markings, one way systems and fluorescent tape are available to create zones, manage flow of people and ease distancing requirements.
